Application & Admission

Applications for University of Mysore Online Programs are accepted throughout the year on a rolling admission basis, although there may be application deadlines fixed for each batch individually.
A candidate, once she/he has gone through the desired program details and eligibility criteria, and has ascertained her/his eligibility, may apply directly online using the links provided on this site, via the Online Application system.
The application system allows a candidate to fill the required details online, providing scanned copies of her/his academic details as well as work experience documents (where required), and make the required fee payments via credit / debit cards or net banking. Candidates may also make the said payment via DD in favour of the University as per details provided
Once the entire application form is complete with required fee, the candidate may submit it electronically for inspection to the Admissions Department. Applications are usually inspected within 5-7 working days of submission.
Once the application is accepted, the candidate is granted admission immediately, and details regarding the course access emailed to her / him.

Curriculum & Studies

Students are provided with the syllabi and curriculum they require to cover in the form of ebooks and other resources online via the University’s Online Learning Portal. They may begin immediately, choosing the order in which they want to study or undertake the courses required to complete the program. Courses may be studied one at a time, or parallel, with no limits on the number of courses to be studied together.
Once they have gone through the required topics, they may attempt the continuous assessments associated with each course online , using the online assessment system. Having cleared the continuous assessments C1 & C2 with a minimum marks of 40% makes a student eligible to appear for the end term assessment, C3, for a course.

Exams Online

End term assessments (C3) for each of the courses is conducted online via a web proctored examination system, which allows the student to appear for the exam while being proctored or monitored by a proctor using the students web-camera itself. This ensures the integrity of the assessment process. As a result, students are free to take the exams at any time of their choice, throughout the year. Also, exams can be taken in any order, i.e in the same manner as courses, as and when the student is ready to appear.

Payment & Fees

Fee Payments through the course may be made via the online fee payment portal, using a credit/debit card, or netbanking, as well as via DD in favour of the University.

Students requiring help with their applications, or the Online Learning Portal access, or support using the same, or with queries regarding the program before or after the enrollment, may contact the student support helpdesk using the link provided here . Our student support associates shall try and address queries via email or phone, as required.

Convocation & Award of Degree

Once a student has successfully completed all the courses mandated in a program, and has been awarded the required credits, she / he may apply for their degree at the next announced convocation date, attaching their gradecards, and other documentation required.
Successful students shall be awarded their Degrees at the Convocation held at the University of Mysore campus each year. Student’s unable to attend the convocation may apply to receive the degree in absentia.
